Little Yellow House Art Code of Conduct:
Little Yellow House Art welcomes families and educators from all backgrounds, beliefs, and locations. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone in our community.
We value thoughtful feedback from parents, teachers, and learners and view it as an important part of growing and improving our programs.
To support a positive and trusted learning experience, we maintain clear community guidelines and do our best to uphold them in a fair and thoughtful way.
We aim to respond to questions and concerns in a timely and caring manner.
Above all, we encourage all members of our community to assume positive intent. When challenges arise, whether due to technical hiccups, delayed communication, or misunderstandings, we ask that feedback be shared with kindness and a collaborative spirit.
We monitor and follow recommended protocols from The LA County Department of Heath, The State of California, CDC, and local officials.
- Weekly camps are limited to the same students all week.
- Our camps have an on-site bathroom and multiple hand washing facilities, and enough room outside to spread out and create.
- It will be optional for all campers and staff to wear a mask. Please note: if conditions worsen and there is more spread in the community, we will put the masks back on.
- At Home Daily Symptoms Screenings: We ask that you monitor your child's symptoms VERY CAREFULLY. Do not send your child to camp with any symptoms. Please Antigen test when necessary.
- Antigen testing is encouraged after engaging in a high exposure activity (sports tournaments, attending public events in crowded venues, etc.)
- If your child has been exposed to Covid, we ask that they wear a mask to camp and Antigen test 5 days after exposure.
- A child who has tested positive for Covid-19 can return to camp after at least 24 hours have passed since last fever without the use of fever-reducing medications, AND a negative Antigen test.
